On Wednesday, March 25th, the 619th Zadar's academic year and the 13th anniversary of the reformed University of Zadar was commemorated by a ceremonial meeting attended by the representatives of higher education institutions from Croatia and abroad

The book ''Zadar's Riva as the Space of Urbanism'' by Full Professor Inga Tomić Koludrović, Željka Tonković, PhD, and Željka Zdravković, PhD (edited by Mirko Petrić), was presented on Wednesday, 28 January 2015, in the Great Hall of the University of Zadar.

Her Excellency Susan Cox, Ambassador of Australia, visited the University of Zadar on 23 January 2015. The meeting was attended by Rector Full Professor Ante Uglešić, Vice-rector for mobility and projects Associate Professor Leonardo Marušić, Manager of Rector's Cabinet Marinela Borina Valčić, and Manager of The Office for Infrastructure Funds and Development Tamara Glušić.

The University of Zadar opened its doors once more to all interested pupils, i.e. potential freshmen, who could find out how it was like to study on a certain study programme from the very students who had decided to finish their studies in Zadar.

As a part of the Open Days at the University of Zadar, an exhibition by Nilo Karuca, one of the most prominent Zadar's graphic artists, was opened at the „Božo Lerotić“ Students Club.

Full Professor Ante Uglešić, Rector of the University of Zadar, attended the meeting „An Evening at the Bookstore“ in the bookstore Verbum in Zadar on Wednesday, 10 December.

On 1 December 2014, His Excellency Júlio Vilela, the Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic, paid a visit to the University of Zadar. He was greeted by Rector Full Professor Ante Uglešić and Associate Professor Leonardo Marušić, Vice-rector for mobility and projects.

“Dalmatia in Recent Croatian History and Culture” is the title of the book written by Full Professor Stijepo Obad, presented in the Great Hall of the University of Zadar.

On Thursday, 6 November 2014, a presentation of the project entitled “Multidimensional analysis of the social inclusion of children and students with disabilities in the educational process” was held in the Great Hall of the University of Zadar.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the International and Interdisciplinary Scientific Symposium „Transitions: the fall of the Berlin Wall – the disintegration of the Eastern Block - Croatia as a special case?“, sponsored by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Zagreb, will be held today and tomorrow in the Great Hall of the University of Zadar.
