Staff mobility

Staff Training Week, 15 – 19 April 2024 in Zadar

Aim

Sharing knowledge and new ideas through discussions and exchange of good practices. Through a combination of presentations and discussions with the colleagues from the international relations office, the week’s programme will provide opportunities for comparing knowledge and understanding of important issues related to marketing strategies in the higher education mobility and Erasmus+ mid-term evaluation. Besides, it would be a great opportunity to strengthen existing relations and to meet potential partners.

Cost

Participants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation expenses and excursion through the Erasmus+ or other funds. University of Zadar will cover the expenses for coffee breaks and lunches, guided city tour, information kits and certificates of attendance.

Terms of participation

  • apply as STT (Staff Mobility for Training) or STA (Staff Mobility For Teaching) and upload Mobility Agreement in the application form,
  • participation will be limited to two people per institution,
  • there is no registration fee,
  • limited number of participants: max 50 persons.

Application

The application deadline is 12 February 2024. Participants will be selected on the basis of fields of interest and the quality of the Mobility Agreement. Participation will be limited to two people per institution. The language of training is English.

Information for incoming academic staff

Staff mobility offers professional development opportunities for academic staff to gain new experiences or to improve their skills by participating in teaching assignments or training in another country. Academic staff can realise their mobility at our University in the framework of different mobility programmes such as Erasmus+, CEEPUS or within Bilateral Cooperation Agreements.

In order to realise the mobility period within the Erasmus+ programme, the higher education institutions in Programme Countries have to be holders of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and must have signed an inter-institutional agreement with our University. For more information, please contact the office in charge of the Erasmus+ programme at your home University.

For an invitation letter, please, contact the Departmental Erasmus coordinators that are appointed with the goal to help you with your teaching or work programme and to assist you by providing other necessary information to make your stay at our University more pleasant and comfortable.

The training period cannot be scheduled during the summer break (during July and August). The teaching period cannot be scheduled during the summer break and exam periods (during June, July, August, September and February).

Non-Academic staff can realise their mobility at our University within different mobility programmes such as Erasmus+, CEEPUS or within Bilateral Cooperation Agreements.

In the framework of the ERASMUS+ mobility programme only the employees of the higher education institutions that hold an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) are eligible to participate. Moreover, your home University must have signed an Inter-institutional agreement with our University. For more information, please contact the office in charge of Erasmus+ programme at your home University.

If you are interested in realising mobility at departmental level, please, contact the Departmental Erasmus Coordinators for an invitation letter and help regarding your work programme.
