27th April 2021 - Rafaela Segarić from the International Relations Office on Tuesday, 27th of April 2021 at 14:00 organised an Info meeting via MS Teams for those students interested in a traineeship. The students had the opportunity to ask questions, resolve any uncertainties and receive answers about their future Erasmus+ exchange.


26th April 2021 - Tina Keran from the International Relations Office on Monday, 26th of April 2021 13:30 organised an Info meeting via MS Teams for those students interested in a study period for the winter semester 2021/2022. She introduced the students with the entire procedure for outgoing mobility.The students had the opportunity to ask questions, resolve any uncertainties and receive answers about their future Erasmus+ exchange.


25th March 2021 - Rafaela Segarić from the International Relations Office on Thursday, 25th of March 2021 at 14:00 organised an Info meeting via MS Teams for those students interested in a traineeship. The students had the opportunity to ask questions, resolve any uncertainties and receive answers about their future Erasmus+ exchange.


16th March 2021 - With the goal of promoting the Call for application for outgoing student mobilities for the winter semester and academic year 2021/2022, the head of the International Relations Office, Ms. Maja Kolega, and our student Lana Šefer-Morvaček on Tuesday, 16th March 2021, presented the Erasmus+ programme on a radio broadcast on Novi radio Zadar. Maja Kolega talked about the application criteria, and the outgoing mobilities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, while the student Lana Šefer-Moravček talked about her experience during her Erasmus+ mobility period in Budapest and Brno.


15th March 2021 - The International Relations Office, with the goal of promoting the Call for application for outgoing student mobilities for the winter semester and academic year 2021/2022, organised an Erasmus+ Q&A meeting via MS Teams on Monday, 15th March 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 in which students had an opportunity to ask questions, resolve uncertainties, and receive answers in regards to the Erasmus+ exchange.


4th March 2021 - As part of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the French Institute, and the Francophonie Days the head of the International Relations Office, Ms. Maja Kolega, on Thursday 4th of March 2021 gave a presentation on the current events and the perspectives of the University of Zadar.


24th February 2021 - 1st March 2021 - The International Relations Office, for the first time, held three virtual info days via the MS Teams app. On three occasions, Rafaela Segarić and Tina Keran from the International Relations Office, presented the Erasmus+ programme for studies and traineeship. More than 50 students who are planning on going on an Erasmus+ mobility participated in the info days and used the opportunity to ask our employees many questions about the application procedure, as well as the procedure during and after the mobility.

22nd February 2021 - On Monday, 22nd February 2021, the Welcome Day for international students was held at the University's Great Hall. Andrija Kapetanović from the International Relations Office gave a presentation during which he introduced the students to life in Zadar and to their administrative obligations during the mobility period. Then, Jana Miailović, a member of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja – HGSS), gave a presentation about the dangers in nature during tourist tours and excursions. Finally, Carla Lešević, the president of ESN Zadar, also held a presentation during which he introduced the students to the ESN programme and activities for the summer semester 2020/2021. Afterwards, in accordance to the epidemiological measures, the members of the ESN Zadar (Erasmus student Network) took the students in groups on a walking tour around the University and the town.


15th October – 25th of November 2020 – The International Relations Office gave informative presentations on student mobility programmes at the departments of the University of Zadar in November. Different possibilities and opportunities for student mobilities were presented.

14th of October 2020 - On Wednesday, 14th of October 2020, Andrija Kapetanović from the International Relations Office took part in the third day of the Erasmus+ Zoom Week at the University of Zadar. He briefly introduced the University, and talked with students and academic staff interested in an Erasmus+ mobility for the summer semester 2020/2021 at the University of Zadar.


5th of October 2020 - On Monday, 5th October 2020, the Welcome Day for international students was held at the students' club “Božo Lerotić”. 4th of March 2020 - On Wednesday, 4th of March 2020 from 14:00 to 15:00 the second Erasmus+ coffee of the International Relations Office was organized at the New Campus (Ul. dr. Franje Tuđmana 24i, 23000, Zadar). Erasmus+ students have shared their previous Erasmus+ experience in an informal setting, with coffee and tea, with students who are interested in an Erasmus+ student mobility. 3rd of March 2020 – On Tuesday, 3rd of March 2020 from 10:30 to 11:30 the Erasmus+ INFO day was held in the students’ club “Božo Lerotić”. Matea Katić, from the International Relations Office, introduced the mobility for studies in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, as well as the possibilities of additional co-financing. After the introduction, Erasmus+ students shared their experience from their mobility period at ISEG in Lisbon (Portugal), University of Alcalá de Henares (Spain) and University of Valencia (Spain). 27th – 31st May 2019 – At the University of Zadar the Staff Training Week was held for partner universities and the University of Zadar staff. The topics of the presentations and the workshops were related to KA107 project management, the digitilisation of the Erasmus+ programme, and the safety of participants of the Erasmus+ programme. Aleksandra Ryniewicz from the Kozminski University in Poland held a presentation called OLA dashboard: advantages and disadvantages. Afterwards, Marija Džaja Sikirić from the International Relations Office held a workshop on the topic of OLA and incoming mobility. On the afternoon of May 28th, Tomasz Wałowicz from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, held a presentation on the topic of Mobility, Safety, Security, while Marija Džaja Sikirić held a workshop on the same topic. Two presentations were held on the topic of KA107 project management: Our way to winning the National ERASMUS+ Award for KA107 - good practices and experiences which was presented by Anite Galler from FH JOANNEUM the University of Applied Sciences in Austria, and KA107 - good practices and experiences by Elzbieta Garza from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen in Germany. Besides the above-mentioned presentations and workshops, the participants had the opportunity to take part in additional social events, such as the tour through the old campus, an individual meeting with the heads of different university services and departments, tour at the maritime simulator, Croatian course for beginners, and an all-day excursion to National Park Kornati.


4th of April 2019 - On Thursday, April 4, 2019, the Fair for Scholarships and Higher Education in organisation of Institute for the Development of Education, City of Zadar and University of Zadar was held at the University of Zadar. At the fair the International Relations Office and other departments of the University were represented. The visitors were able to find out more about the possibilities for student mobility and exchange prospects at the University of Zadar.


28th February 2019 - On Thursday, 28th February 2019, the second of this year’s two Informative days took place in the room 143 at the Old Campus. Matea Katić gave a presentation and introduced the students with the possibility of going on exchanges within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. After the presentation, Matea Katić and Marija Džaja Sikirić answered questions asked by the students.


27th February 2019 - On Wednesday, 27th February 2019, the first of this year’s two Informative days took place in the Multimedia Hall at the New Campus. Maja Kolega, the Erasmus+ coordinator, gave a welcome speech, and Matea Katić gave a presentation whereby she introduced the students with the possibility of going on exchanges within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. Afterwards, the students Mia Salopek, who went on a mobility during the winter semester 2018/2019 in Lodz (Poland) and Magdalena Antičević and Nataša Marić, who went on a mobility during the winter semester 2018/2019 in Coimbra (Portugal), talked about their experience during their exchange.


25th of February 2019 - On Monday, 25th February 2019, the Welcome Day for international students was held at the students' club “Božo Lerotić”. Marija Džaja Sikirić from the International Relations Office gave a presentation during which she introduced the students to life in Zadar and to their administrative obligations during the mobility period. Then, Matej Požarina, the president of ESN Zadar, held a presentation during which he introduced the students to the ESN programme and activities for the summer semester. Finally, Paolo Iglić, a member of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja – HGSS), also gave a presentation about the dangers in nature during tourist tours and excursions. Afterwards, students were invited to the students club “Božo Lerotić” where they met with the members of the ESN Zadar (Erasmus student Network) and Students Council. After the initial meeting, members of the ESN Zadar took the students on a walking tour of the University and town.


5th – 26th of November 2018 – The International Relations Office gave informative presentations on student mobility programmes at the departments of the University of Zadar in November. Different possibilities and opportunities for student mobilities were presented. The DAAD lector Larissa Holz, who presented DAAD scholarships, the representative of the student organisation ESN Zadar Matej Požarina, and former Erasmus+ students also took part in some of the presentations.

Afterwards, the students met with the other members of the ESN Zadar (Erasmus student Network) and Students Council. After the initial meeting, members of the ESN Zadar took the students on a walking tour of the University and town and a gathering was organised in the student club. 12th of March 2018 – On Thursday, 8 March 2018, the Erasmus+ Informative Day was held at the students' club “Božo Lerotić” for students of the University of Zadar who wish to go abroad for mobility. The program was opened by Assoc.Prof. Slaven Zjalić, Ph.D., the Vice Rector for Inter-Institutional Cooperation and Technology Transfer and Maja Kolega, the Erasmus coordinator, who presented the programme of the event. Marija Džaja Sikirić held a presentation informing the students about the possibilities of Erasmus+ student exchange. Her presentation is available here. Afterwards, Andrijana Kovačević, a student from the University of Zadar who spent the winter semester of the academic year 2017/2018 in Nancy, France, presented her experience. Following her presentation, two guest professors (Iwona Sikora, Agnieszka Kaczmarek) and the incoming student (Klaudia Ulanska) from Poland presented the higher education system of Poland and several higher education institutions in Poland. Finally, the student organisation ESN Zadar held a workshop “How to apply for an Erasmus+ grant?” During the workshop, the students had the opportunity to learn how to successfully fill out the Erasmus+ application, how to write a motivational letter and CV, how to choose a higher education institutions and arrange the courses and accommodation during the mobility. 5th of December 2017 - On Tuesday, 05 December, Rafaela Segarić from the International Relations Office held a group Skype chat with foreign students, who want to spend the summer semester of 2017/2018 at the University of Zadar. The students were interested most in how to choose their courses, which ones, the lecture schedule, how to find accommodation in Zadar as well as what the average monthly expenses are. The Skype chat took place from 01:00 – 03.00 p.m.

2nd of October 2017 - On Monday, 2nd October 2017, the Welcome Day for international students was held at the Rectorate (dvorana za poslijediplomske studije). Rafaela Segarić from the International Relations Office gave a presentation during which she introduced the students to life in Zadar and to their administrative obligations during the mobility period. The president of the ESN Zadar (Erasmus Student Network), Josipa Friščić, introduced the students to the work of the organisation as well as to the plans for excursions and activities scheduled for the winter semester 2017/2018. After the presentations, members of the ESN Zadar took the students on a walking tour of the University and town.


23rd – 26th of May 2017 – The International Relations Office organized a Staff Training Week for employees from universities all over Europe. Participants from Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain and Slovakia attended the lectures and workshops, which were organized by the International Relations Office.

On Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 the participants were welcomed by professor Slaven Zjalić, the Vice-rector for Inter-Institutional Cooperation and Technology Transfer, and Mrs Maja Kolega, the head of the International Relations Office, gave a presentation on the University of Zadar. Afterwards the participants gave short presentations on their own universities. After the presentations, the participants were able to take a tour of the city.

On Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 a session on the Erasmus+ KA107 was held, followed by a lecture of professor Irena Radić Rossi from the Department of Archaeology about her KA107 teaching staff experience.

On Thursday, May 25th, 2017 the participants had an opportunity for individual meetings with representatives of various departments. After the meetings, Ms Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office headed a workshop with practice examples about the mobility program Erasmus+ KA107. After lunch, Mr Žan Štefković from the International Relations Office gave the participants a tour of the old campus.

On Friday, May 26th, 2017 the International Relations Office organized an all-day excursion to the NP Kornati and Telašćica. After the excursion, the participants were given certificates of their participation in the week.


16th of May 2017 – On Thursday, May 16, 2017, the Spring Fair for Scholarships and Higher Education was held at the Arsenal in Zadar. At the fair the International Relations Office was represented and visitors were able to find out more about the possibilities for student mobility and exchange prospects at the University of Zadar. The student Filip Cirkvenčić shared his study experience on foreign universities, which he was able to gather via the Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programme and Valentina Buzuk, winner of the Rector's Award for Excellence, presented the scholarships of the University of Zadar.

 


5th of May 2017 - On Monday, 5th of May 2017, at the Postgraduate Studies Hall, Sanja Stepanović from the International Relations Office held an informative lecture on Erasmus+ mobility for non-teaching and teaching staff.


27th of April 2017 - On Thursday, 27th of April, Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office held a group Skype chat with foreign students, who want to spend the summer semester of 2017/2018 at the University of Zadar. The students were most interested in how to choose their courses, how to get a visa for Croatia, how to find accommodation in Zadar as well as what the average monthly expenses are. The Skype chat took place from 1:00 – 3.00 p.m.


Annual General Meeting of the ESN in Berlin

Once more the Erasmus Student Network Croatia has proven to have valuable, resourceful, motivated and enthusiastic volunteers who invest their spare time in helping Erasmus students. At the Annual General Meeting of the ESN in Berlin, which took place from April 20th to 24th as part of the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus + programme, recognition came in the form of numerous awards.

The Croatian delegation returned with a total of three awards: ESN Split and ESN Zagreb won the MEekend Award, the best Mov'in Europe activity whose purpose was to promote mobility, ESN Zadar won an award for a music video with sign language whose purpose was the promotion of ESN's ExchangeAbility project, that promotes the inclusion and availability of higher education for students with disabilities. 25th of April 2017 – On Tuesday, 25th of April students from the Alpen-Adria-Universität in Klagenfurt visited the Department of Tourism and Communication Studies at the University of Zadar and the rector's office, where the Head of the International Relations Office Maja Kolega gave a presentation about the University of Zadar and the possibilities of a study visit. Thereupon the coordinator of the ESN, Josipa Friščić, introduced the students to the activities of the ESN. Afterwards, they were taken on a tour of the university building at the waterfront and the University Chapel of St. Dimitri.


20th of April 2017 - On Thursday, 20th of April 2017, at the „Božo Lerotić“ student club, the International Relations Office held a meeting with all students whose applications for the Erasmus+ mobility programme have been accepted, and who have the right to pursue that mobility at a university of their choice. At the meeting, Mrs. Sanja Stepanović from the International Relations Office, introduced the students to the application procedure for the desired university and to the difficulties which may ensue. The meeting consisted of two parts: Mrs. Stepanović's presentation and questions and answers at the end.


3rd of April 2017 - On Monday, 3rd of April 2017, at the Postgraduate Studies Hall, the International Relations Office held an Info Day about student training for students who can apply for student training at a foreign institution of their choice in the academic year 2017/2018. Sanja Stepanović, an associate at the International Relations Office, gave a presentation for students who are planning to do a student training, introducing them to rights and obligations related to the student training. Afterwards Anabela Memišević, a student from the University of Zadar, who spent the summer semester of the academic year 2015/2016 on student training in the Czech Republic, presented her experience in the form of a video and a description of her application procedure and all the invaluable experiences of such an exchange.


1st of March 2017 – On Wednesday, March 1st at 10 o'clock the Erasmus+ Informative Day was held for students who wish to go on mobility. The programme was opened by assoc. prof. Nedjeljka Balić Nižić, Ph. D., Deputy Rector for Studies and Student Affairs whereupon Sanja Stepanović from the International Relations Office held a presentation informing the students about the possibilities of a student exchange. Her presentation is available here. Afterwards Anabela Memišević, a student from the University of Zadar, who spent the summer semester of the academic year 2015/2016 on student training in the Czech Republic, presented her experience in the form of a video and a description of her application procedure and all the invaluable experiences of such an exchange. Following her presentation, two foreign students studying in Germany presented their home universities as possible destinations for mobility: „Bamberg University“ was represented by Ksenia Tymofeyenko and the „University of Applied Sciences, Hof“ by Sally Rendl.

At 2 o'clock in the afternoon members of the organisation ESN Zadar held a lecture and a workshop in order to show students how to apply for the Erasmus+ student exchange.


27th of February 2017 - On Monday, 27 February 2017, the Welcome Day for international students was held at the „Božo Lerotić“ student club. Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office gave a presentation during which she introduced the students to life in Zadar and to their administrative obligations during the mobility period. While Andrea Jukić, a member of the student council introduced the work of the student council to the students and the president of the ESN (Erasmus student Network) Bianca Janković gave presentations during which she introduced the students to the work of the organisation along with plans for workshops, traveling and gatherings in the summer semester. After the presentations, members of the ESN took the students on a walking tour of the University and town.

26th - 29th January 2017 - Employees of the Office of International Relations participated in the Ninth International Fair of Higher Education Informativa, held in Ljubljana from the 26th to the 29th of January. To the interested audience, we presented the possibilities of studying at the University of Zadar and we distributed multiple brochures, flyers, publications and other promotional material about the University of Zadar. An additional part of the Fair consisted of a presentation about the system of higher education in the Republic of Croatia, held by the representative of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia, while representatives of all Croatian Universities, including the University of Zadar, held a short presentation, where they presented their universities and the possibilities of studying there.


17th January 2017 - On January 17th the Open Day of the University of Zadar was held at the People's Square in the City Lodge from 13.00h to 16.00h. The Head of the International Relations Office Maja Kolega gave a presentation on mobility within the framework of bilateral agreements and the Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programmes. Also videos about students, who took advantage of the Erasmus+ student mobility programme to spend a part of their education at the University of Zadar, as well as some impressions of our students, who spent some time abroad at foreign universities, were shown.

2nd of December 2016 - On Friday, 2nd of December at 11 a.m. the student counselling centre organized the workshop “Introduction to the Croatian sign language” at the New Campus. The Head of the International Relations Office Maja Kolega informed the participants of the workshop about the possibilities of additional aid for students and staff with extra subventions within the Erasmus+ program because of possible increased expenses during the realization of the mobility period. The workshop was organized in the course of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

21st of November 2016 - On Monday, 21st of November, Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office held a meeting at 9:30 p.m. in the rectorate building with the foreign exchange students from the winter semester of 2016/2017. Studying in a foreign country brings a lot of new experiences and impressions, which can have a positive influence on the personal development, but can also pose many challenges. The conclusion was, that the most important thing is to gain access to the necessary pieces of information and to share your personal experiences with others.


3rd to 5th November 2016 - The Third Sarajevo University Fair was held in the “Ramiz Salčin” hall in Sarajevo from the 3rd to the 5th of November 2016. The Head of the International Relations Office Maja Kolega and International Relations Officer Rafaela Burmeta presented the possibilities of studying at the University of Zadar and distributed multiple brochures, flyers, publications and other promotional material about the University of Zadar. An additional part of the Fair consisted of the organisation of a round table with the topic "Higher education and the real sector", also attended by the representative of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia, while representatives of all Croatian Universities, including the University of Zadar, held a short presentation, where they presented their universities and the possibilities of studying there.

26th September of 2016 – In cooperation with the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) oraganisation from Belgium and partners from Europe (Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Great Britain and Iceland) including the ESN (Erasmus Student Network), GONG conducted a project about digital democracy and the participation of youth in decision making with the focus on the topic of mobility in favour of learning. The project Digital Ecosystem for e-Participation Linking Youth (DEEP-Linking Youth) includes research and creation of the platform and digital contents in order to be able to follow and to encourage the discussion about the future of student mobility and the Erasmus+ programme. During the two-day training for young people, held on the 26th and 27th September 2016 at the IMPACT centre International Relations Officer Rafaela Burmeta gave a presentation on the topic of mobility programmes at the University of Zadar.


7th – 10th of June 2016 Staff Training Week for employees from universities throughout Europe was organised by the International Relations Office. Participants from Germany, Poland, France, Greece, Turkey, Serbia and Russia took part in the lectures and workshops held during the week. On Tuesday, 7th of June, the participants were welcomed by professor Slaven Zjalić, the Vice-rector for Inter-Institutional Cooperation and Technology Transfer, and Ms Maja Kolega, the head of the International Relations Office, gave a presentation on the University. Professor Sandra Hadžihalilović from the Division of Russian Language and Literature at the Department of Croatian and Slavic Studies, held a lecture entitled “Mobility and Interculturality: What is in it for students?“ After the lectures, the participants were able to take a tour of the city.

On Wednesday, 8th of June, professor Ivo Fabijanić of the Department of English, gave a lecture entitled „A Remedy for Avoiding Problems of Mobility Recognition”, and professor Leonardo Marušić of the Maritime Department held a class entitled “Guidelines for joint studies”. The lectures concluded that day with the participants’ presentations on their home universities.

On Thursday, 9th of June, the participants had an opportunity for individual meetings with representatives of various departments. After the meetings, Ms Rafaela Burmeta of the International Relations Office headed a workshop entitled „Branding of the University in the International environment“. After lunch, the participants were given certificates of their participation in the week.

On Friday, 10th of June, the International Relations Office organized an all-day excursion to the Benkovac Fair, the town of Benkovac and Biograd.


22nd of April 2016 - On Friday, April 22nd 2016, Rafaela Burmeta, an associate at the International Relations Office, held an interview via Skype with students who have been nominated to spend the autumn semester at the University of Zadar in the academic year 2016/17 by partner universities as part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme and of bilateral cooperation agreements. Thirty students participated in the interview, and the topics were how to fill out the application form, the Learning Agreement, application dates, how to choose courses for the winter semester and how to get to Zadar and find a place to stay. The interview lasted from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

29th of March 2016 - On Tuesday, 29th of March 2016, the Europe Direct Zadar Information centre, in cooperation with the Agency for rural development of the Zadar County (AGGRA) and the University of Zadar organised an open day for students, the goal of which was to inform students about their possibilities as citizens of the European Union. The purpose of the event was to achieve a good cooperation with students and involving them in EU programmes. The open day programme also included introducing students to the ERASMUS+ mobility programme. Presentations were given by Mrs Maja Kolega, the Head of the International Relations Office, and Filip Cirkvenčić, a student who spent the autumn semester of the current academic year at the University of Padua. 21st of March 2016 – On Monday, March 21st 2016, Maja Kolega, Head of the International Relations Office, gave a presentation at the Department of Economics at 2:30 p.m. The main topic of this gathering were the options available to the students within the Erasmus+ mobility programme. 16th of March 2016 – On Wendsday, the 16th of March 2016. Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office gave a presentation in cooperation with the ESN student association at the Božo Lerotić Student Club. The topic of the presentation was filling out the application and writing the motivational letter related to applying for Erasmus+.


3rd of March 2016 - On Thursday, 3rd of March at 11 o'clock, the Erasmus+ Informative Day was held for students who wish to go on mobility. The programme was opened by assoc. prof. Nedjeljka Balić Nižić, Ph. D., Deputy Rector for Studies and Student Affairs, and assoc. prof. Slaven Zjalić, Ph. D., Deputy Rector for Inter-Institutional Cooperation and Technology Transfer, after which Maja Kolega, head of the International Relations Office, informed the students on the possibilities of going on student exchange through a presentation. After that the students Jakov Proroković, who had spent a semester at the University College Dublin in Ireland, and Filip Cirkvenčić, who had spent a semester at the University of Padua in Italy, gave presentations. Incoming students Godoberta Gumbakyte from the University of Vilnius in Lithuania and Miroslav Chutnak of the University of Žilina in Slovakia, introduced the audience to their universities and their countries. The theme country of this year's Info day was Hungary. Mrs Kolega gave a presentation on higher education in Hungary, and incoming students from Hungary, Laszlo Csuka, Zoltan Nemeth, and Balasz Varga introduced their conutry and their university, Szechenyi Istvan University in Györ, with the help of a presentation and several videos. After this presentation, the memebers of the association ESN Zadar introduced the students to the work of their organisation and invited them to the workshop „How do you apply for Erasmus+?“ which is intended to help studets to succcessfully fill out the application for the Erasmus+ programme. The date of the workshop will be agreed upon at later date.


29th February 2016 - On Monday, the 29th of February Welcome Day for incoming Erasmus+ students was held at the „Božo Lerotić“ student club. Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office gave a presentation during which she introduced the students to life in Zadar and their obligations. After her, Bianca Janković and Zrinka Trusić from the ESN gave presentations during which they introduced the students to the work of their organisation and their plans for the semester. 3rd December 2015 - On Thursday, 3rd of December 2015, Rafaela Burmeta gave a lecture at 11 o’clock at the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology on mobility programmes. Marko Brkljačić, a student of Ethnology and Anthropology and History, gave an additional lecture on his student mobility experience in Heidelberg, Germany.

 


26th November 2015 – On Thursday, 26th of November 2015, the Head of the International Relations Office, Maja Kolega, gave an informative lecture on student mobility at the Department of English. The subjects of the lecture were the ERASMUS+ and CEEPUS mobility programmes as well as other forms of mobility.


2nd October 2015 – On Friday, 2nd of October, at 10 o’clock in study room 143, at the English Department, Welcome Day was held for incoming students who were part of the academic mobility programmes. Rafaela Burmeta from the International Relations Office gave a presentation containing information about the university and the city of Zadar. Bianca Janković, president of the ESN, the student organisation concerned with incoming mobility students, also gave a presentation in which she introduced the students to the activities her group organises and invited the students to participate in them.


20th – 24th April 2015 The University of Zadar hosted an International Staff Training Week, during which members of staff from universities from Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Latvia, Portugal and Turkey gathered to share knowledge and experience with an emphasis on implementation of the Erasmus+ programme at their home universities. The programme included presentations by participants and optional individual meetings. Lectures included “Life satisfaction: Cross cultural approach” by Professor Zvjezdan Penezić, and “Why might it be a good idea, to bring as a teacher my own dog into the classroom? - Research in the context of the attachment theory - effects of human-animal interactions in schools” by Professor Harald Mandl, while subjects of discussion included topics such as “Branding of the University in the International Environment”. The participants also enjoyed Tours of the University and an excursion to the Island of Pag. All participants received certificates of participation.


3rd March 2015 – On Tuesday, 3rd of March 2015, the Erasmus+ informative day was held to mark the start of the Applicatons for the Erasmus+ Student Mobility. Marija Džaja Sikirić, from the International Relations Office gave a presentation about the options of student mobility. Tea Tarčuku and Milka Vučić, students of Psychology, shared their Erasmus+ experiences from Coimbra, as did Martin Salopek, a student from the Department of History, who spent the last semester in Bari (Italy). Additionally, as part of the Informative day programme, there was a series of lectures related to the subject country – the Czech Republic. Students from Mendel University in Brno, Adéla Koláčková and Jitka Kovařčíková, who are currently participating in the mobility programme here in Zadar, also spoke, as did Nikolett Novak-Arnold, trainee at the International Relations Office, and Vinka Skorić, member of the ESN student association, who represented Masaryk University, where she had spent a semester as part of her mobility. After the lectures, useful workshops took place, entitled “How to apply for Erasmus?”, organized by the student association ESN Zadar. A presentation on the student association ESN Zadar was also given by Sebastian Govorčin.


8th January and 22nd January 2015 – On Thursday, 8th January at 3 o’clock at the English Department, and again on Thursday, January 22th at the Department of Croatian and Slavic Studies, Maja Kolega, Head of the International Relations Office, gave an informative lecture on mobility programmes Erasmus+, Erasmus Mundus, CEEPUS, and on mobilities via bilateral agreements.


17th December 2014 - On Wednesday, 17th of December at 1 p.m., Marija Džaja Sikirić from the International Relations Office gave a lecture at the Department of Health Studies on mobility programmes and the options available to students.


13th of May 2014 – An Informative Day was held in the organisation of the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes on 13th of May 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the University of Zadar's Great Hall. Through a string of interesting lectures, the Agency's employees presented various opportunities for achieving mobility, international academic and scientific cooperation, within the programmes they coordinate.

Tamara Kisovar Ivanda, PhD, from the Department of Teachers’ and Preschool Teachers’ Education, held a lecture on her experience with the Erasmus mobility programme.


8th of May 2014 An info meeting was held at the Department of History of Art concerning mobility opportunities of the Department's staff and students. Marija Džaja held a lecture on the Erasmus+ programme followed by the students’ and employees’ questions.


5th of March 2014 – On Wendsday, 5th of March 2014, starting at 10 a.m., an Informative day was organized about the Erasmus+ mobility programme. Marija Džaja Sikirić of the International Relations Office gave the presentation „Erasmus+: exchange possibilities for students of the University of Zadar“. Later on, students who had spent the summer semester of the academic year 2013/2014 abroad as part of the Erasmus+ programme gave their presentations. Margareta Medić, a student from the Department of Psychology, talked about her experience as a student trainee in Klagenfurt in her presentation „My Traineeship Experience in Austria“. Anđela Jordan, a student from the Department of Archaeology and the Department of History, gave a presentation entitled „My Erasmus Experience at the University of Marburg“. After the presentations there was a workshop entitled „How to apply for Erasmus+?“, held by ESN Zadar. On demand by departments of the University, presentations about the Erasmus+ mobility programme were also held at the Department of Tourism and Communication Studies, Department of Information Sciences, Department of Ethnology and Anthropology, and the Department of Economics, while a presentation about the Erasmus+ programme and other possible forms of mobility was held at the Department of Teacher Education Studies in Gospić on the initiative of the International Relations Office.


20th of November 2013 - A round-table discussion on the theme „International Student Exchange and Mobility Programmes“ was hosted at the Museum of Ancient Glass on Wednesday, 20th of November 2013, at 11 a.m. Maja Kolega, the University of Zadar's International Relations Office manager; Marija Vidović, the president of the student organisation ESN; Ksenija Vidmar-Ninčević, an English teacher at Bartol Kašić elementary school; and Josipa Jurjević, a former participant of the Youth Camp, took part in the discussion. The round-table discussion was a part of the programme organised for Saint Chrysogonus' Day, Zadar's patron saint day, celebrated on 24th of November.


14th of November 2013 An informative lecture on mobility programmes for the students of the Department of Croatian and Slavic Studies (the Division of Croatian Language and Literature) was held on Thursday, 14th of November 2013, at 12 p.m. The lecture was held by Maja Kolega, the International Relations Office manager, as a part of a plenary meeting organised by the Division of Croatian Language and Literature, and presided by Assistant Professor Kornelija Kuvač-Levačić.


29th of October 2013 – An informative lecture on the Erasmus Mundus programme, and on the CEEPUS Freemover Mobility programme for the summer semester of the academic year 2013-2014, was held on Tuesday, 29th of October 2013 at 11 a.m. in the University's Great Hall. The presentation was held by Maja Kolega, the International Relations Office manager.
