Information for Prospective Partners

The University of Zadar has already signed Bilateral Agreements and Erasmus+ Inter-institutional Agreements with universities from a number of countries. One of our strategic goals is to broaden the spectrum of international cooperation according to the Strategy of the University of Zadar (2017-2022). The University of Zadar has participated in the Lifelong Learning Programme since the academic year of 2010/2011. In 2013, Croatia joined the European Union and in the same year the University of Zadar has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 which enables our students and staff to participate in the Erasmus+ programme. Please, consult our Erasmus Policy Statement for more information on our strategy in the Erasmus+ cooperation.

If your institution is interested in signing an Erasmus+ Inter-institutional Agreement, please, contact the International Relations Office via email. Please note that each proposal must define the subject area and the relative department of the University of Zadar to which the proposal refers. The list of the departmental Erasmus coordinators by departments can be found here.

The International Relations Office will filter the proposals on the basis of the University Strategy and send it to the departmental revision.

The deadline for signing new Erasmus+ agreements is the 1st MARCH for the following academic year (e. g. the deadline for signing an agreement valid in the academic year 2019/2020 is the 1st MARCH 2019).

If your institution is interested in signing a Bilateral Agreement (not Erasmus+) with the University of Zadar, please, contact the Head of the International Relations Office Maja Kolega for more information on the procedure.
