Postgraduate studies are organised as full-time (for students appointed as assistants) or part-time (for students who have signed the Contract of Study and who need to pay a tuition fee).
Full-time doctoral study usually lasts for 3 (three) years and 180 ECTS credits are gained by its completion.
Part-time doctoral study may last for 6 years.
The lectures are being held according to the syllabus and study programme, and they include elective, optional and compulsory courses.
A student sits the examination after completing a course, if so prescribed by the study programme.
A student is allowed to enrol in the next academic year if he or she has complied with the study programme requirements.
