The University of Zadar held a kick off conference of the project for the renovation of the old Technical School on the Zadar peninsula entitled „University research and teaching infrastructure for the 21st century KK.06.2.2.13.0001“. Prior to the event, media representatives had the opportunity to attend a brief tour of the building where classes were held until 2004, after which it was doomed to decline. A 3D visualization of the project results was premiered at the inaugural conference.
The implementation of the project "University research and teaching infrastructure for the 21st century KK.06.2.2.13.0001" began on June 1, 2020 with the signing of the Grant Agreement. It was approved for funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Call for project proposals Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) - Regenerating brownfields in Zadar urban area KK.06.2.2.13, within the Operational programme competitiveness and cohesion 2014 - 2020. The planned period for the implementation of the project is from June 1, 2020 to June 1, 2022. The total value of the project is HRK 34,348,000.00, and EU funds HRK 26,000,000.00.
