A delegation from Thammasat University in Thailand, led by Rector Prof. Dr. Somkit Lertpaithoon, visited the University of Zadar on Tuesday, 7 April 2015. A memorandum on cooperation was signed between Rector Prof. Dr. Somkit Lertpaithoon and Full Professor Ante Uglešić, Dr. h.c., Rector of the University of Zadar.

Thammasat University is an international academic institution that „aims to solve Thailand’s problems with moral commitment for the greater good of society“. It is the second largest university in Thailand with 19 faculties covering social-humanistic, biotechnical, technical, biomedical and artistic areas.

The memorandum was signed with the aim to realise joint activities in the area of teaching, scientific and expert work.
