AN IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL PROJECT APPROVED - the University of Zadar is part of the EU-CONEXUS Alliance

The European Universities Initiative was launched in 2017, with the aim of establishing international networks of higher education institutions across the EU that share a common long-term strategy and promote European values. The networks will promote quality and comprehensiveness in the European Higher Education Area and strengthen the cooperation of universities, their students and teachers, the mobility of students and teaching and non-teaching staff, and foster its quality, inclusiveness and competitiveness.
As part of a network of universities from six European countries, the University of Zadar participates in application and approval of a joint project called ‘EU-CONEXUS’ – „European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability’. Along with University of Zadar, partner institutions in this project are: Agricultural University of Athens (Greece), La Universidad Católica de Valencia “San Vicente Mártir” (Spain), Klaipeda University (Lithuania), La Rochelle Université (France) and Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (Romania)
Students from partner universities will be able to spend part of their education at one or more partner institutions through this project, either physically or through the use of various forms of distance learning. Scientists will be able to collaborate on projects with colleagues from other universities and use a common infrastructure, and administrative staff will be able to share experiences and good practice. Through the implementation of this project, all partner universities, including ours, have secured an important place in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
