The Rectorate of the University is an organisational unit responsible for executing legal, administrative, financial-accounting, technical, and other general affairs of joint interest for the University and its units, in accordance with the Law, the Statute, and other general acts.
By fulfilling its responsibilities, the Rectorate ensures the necessary conditions for execution of the obligations and authorities correctly, in accordance with legal framework, and in a timely manner, as well as the conditions for the fulfilment of the functions, duties, and tasks assigned to its units.
The Rectorate consists of organisational units (common professional services, departments, centres, etc.) that integrate the University in a functional manner.
ADMINISTRATION
Positions with special authorization at the University of Zadar include the Rector’s Office, the offices of the Vic-rectors, and the position of the University Secretary.
The Rector and the Vice-rectors constitute the Administration of the University.
