Georg Lind


Professor Georg Lind works at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Earlier in his career he was visiting professor at the Humboldt University, Germany (1993/94), University of Illinois at Chicago (1995/96) and at the University of Monterrey in Mexico (1999). After getting Master degree in Psychology at the University of Heidelberg, 1973, his main research and teaching interest is focused on moral-democratic competence. He is an author of the “Moral Competence Test” (MCT) (formerly called Moral Judgment Test, MJT). The MCT has been translated and validated in 39 languages, and is used world-wide in research and evaluation studies. He has two PhDs, one in the field of psychology and the other in the field of philosophy. Since 1999 he is director of the KMDD (Konstanzer Methode der Dilemma-Diskussion; method for fostering moral-democratic competence) certification program (1999).
