Erasmus + Informative Day


An informative day on the Erasmus + programme was held for students on Thursday, 3 March 2016. After introductory speeches from Associate Professor Nedjeljka Balić – Nižić, Deputy Rector for Studies and Student Affairs, and Associate Professor Slaven Zjalić, Deputy Rector for Inter-Institutional Cooperation and Technology Transfer, a lecture on the Erasmus + mobility programme was held by Maja Kolega, Head of International Relations Office. Lectures were also held by home and foreign students who had spent the winter semester of the 2015/2016 academic year abroad or had chosen Zadar as their Erasmus + destination.

Filip Cirkvenčić, a student from the Department of Geography and the Department of Italian Studies, and Jakov Proroković, a student from the Department of Sociology and the Department of English, presented their Erasmus + experiences at the University of Padua and the University of Maynooth. Students Miroslav Chutnak from Slovakia; Balazs Varga, László Csuka and Zoltán Németh from Hungary; and Godoberta Gumbakyte from Lithuania presented their home universities and their countries as potential destinations for Erasmus + mobility programmes. Likewise, the ESN Zadar presented the work of the ESN organisation in Europe and Zadar by way of a presentation and video materials.
